Ciao! Sono Flavia!

Ciao! My name is Flavia. I’m a photographer, educator and mother. Born and raised in Rome,  I’ve always been curious about different cultures, languages and people. Before moving to Wilmington, Delaware, I lived in Rome, London, Düsseldorf and San Francisco. My passion is Photography and the spreading of the Italian Culture which makes me feel close to my home-country when I am far away.

I know how difficult it can be to learn a foreign language, especially as an adult.  I believe that in order to learn another language, we first need to develop an emotional connection and interest in the culture of the country. That is why you will find that in my classes, I not only teach grammar and vocabulary, but I also love to teach you about all aspects of Italian life and culture. As students, you will be communicating with one another from your very first lesson.
